Dr. Samuel Cantor grew up in the North Miami area and moved to central Massachusetts during high school. He graduated from Worcester Academy in central Massachusetts, and went on to attend the University of Vermont, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Zoology. Cantor then attended the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine in Northern Chicago and graduated in 1977 with his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree.
Cantor opened his first office in Plantation, Florida, but just three years later, moved to northern Miami-Dade County, where he practiced for 28 years, performing surgeries at North Shore Medical Center as well as Jackson Memorial North Medical Center. In 2009, he relocated his main office to the Pembroke Pines Center where he currently practices.
Dr. Cantor's practice consists of forefoot surgery, diabetic foot care, wound care, treatment of infection, as well as hospital-based and outpatient surgeries.
