Great people there.the staff was the best.
First off I’d like to say I’m not going to state what surgery I was there for or who my surgeon was for privacy reasons (I’ll be leaving a review for them on their own site). I went in for a same day surgery at 6am for with surgery scheduled at 7am. I went into surgery closer to 8am because of meeting with the team who was taking care of me, signing all of the papers I needed to sign, etc. Along with making sure I had all the meds needed before surgery. The staff was very nice and welcoming the entire time I was there! It went by extremely fast and so smoothly. From the front desk help, the billing, to the surgery team, and everyone was so happy and extremely nice! Shout out to the team I had: Dr. Wilson was my Anesthesiologist and he was very helpful going over everything before surgery. He explained all of it to me and asked if I had any concerns and answered every question I had for him. I know that’s what they are supposed to do, but he didn’t make it seem meaningless or robotic script. He was very genuine. Along with K.K - PACU Nurse, I believe she was the one there when I came out of my anesthesia and helped calm me down after waking up because I couldn’t control my breathing. She helped me figure out how to calm myself after coming out of anesthesia, everyone is different and reacts differently when coming out of surgery. Reginia - Operative Nurse - Came to check on me multiple times asking if I needed anything before she took me back to get surgery. She was very friendly and helped distract me from my nerves by letting me talk about my dog. She also shared a story of her dog which I thought was good because I felt more comfortable after knowing that the staff will make connections with their patients. It shows that they hear what I am saying, which means that they care about what they are doing. Elsa - Pre-Op - She was the first one to come grab me from the waiting room. Now I am a hard poke when it comes to drawing blood and getting IVs in. She had no problem finding it, she is definitely a pro and was able to get it on the first try! Now I’m not a genius when it comes to remembering names, so I had my nurse write their names down so I could give them an extra shoutout for being such a great team to have during surgery. They definitely know how to do their jobs! I’m not sure if I missed anyone but even if I did, I didn’t run into anyone who I didn’t think was nice. Overall my experience here was better than I could have imagined. They were all very helpful and kind to me during my visit. I’m glad everyone had the best bedside manners and showed that they were humans and not just robots going in and out with no emotional effort to connect with their patients. Being so vulnerable during surgery is terrifying, but knowing I had a team who connected with me before hand completely alleviated my fears and anxiety. Thank you to the entire staff that I connected with that day. You all are spectacular people ❤️❤️
These folks were professional and focused. The process was seemless and on schedule. This is how serious medical procedures should be handled. A very rare thing these days.
