Professional Statement
Dr. Scott Goldberg completed his undergraduate education in 1980 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He graduated Cum Laude and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society and a Dean’s Scholar. In 1984 he received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He graduated Cum Laude and was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. In 1984 he attended the University of Miami School of Medicine and completed his internship in General Surgery. From 1985 to 1989 he was a resident in Otolaryngology Head and Neck surgery at the University of Miami School of Medicine.
In 1989 he entered private practice in Otolaryngology in South Florida. South Florida Magazine has named him one of the “Top Doctors in South Florida”. Dr. Goldberg has served as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Miami. He has also served as a guest lecturer at Barry University and other professional meetings. He has numerous publications in peer reviewed professional journals on topics ranging from otology to sinus disease. Dr. Goldberg has been active in the Greater Miami Ear, Nose and Throat Society, serving as their previous President. He has also been Vice Chairman, Department of Surgery for North Shore Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Goldberg is married and has two children. He is an avid exercise enthusiast and tennis player. He gives back to the community through various fundraising and charitable activities.
