Professional Statement
Dr. Parish is a South Florida native, growing up in North Miami Beach and attending high school at The University School of Nova Southeastern University. After spending several years in New England he is excited to be home and joining Orthopaedic Center of South Florida. Dr. Parish attended Tufts University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude before returning home to South Florida to earn his Medical Degree at the University Of Miami School Of Medicine.
He then returned back to Boston, Massachusetts to complete his Anesthesiology Residency at Harvard University’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He continued his education completing an Interventional Pain Management Fellowship at Harvard University’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. During his fellowship he gained expertise in the treatment of Spinal Related Pain Disorders, Complex Regional Pain Syndromes (CRPS), and Interventional Approaches to Headache Management. He additionally has extensive training in the treatment of Facial as well as Abdominal and Pelvic Pain Disorders.
During his formal training he was involved in the medical education of Harvard Medical students, as well as co-authoring several book chapters about Anesthesiology and Pain Management.
In his free time Dr. Parish enjoys playing golf and tennis as well as supporting all of South Florida’s sports teams, especially the Miami Hurricanes.
Dr. Parish is Board Certified By The American Board of Anesthesiology in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.
